The Anterior Mandibular Defect |
Another case submitted for the forum for discussion. The illustrated case demonstrates the bone loss after extractions in the anterior mandible. The THREE-D Views are helpful to understand the anatomy. The cross-sectional slices show the extent of the bone defect and the limitations for implant placement.

COMMENTARY for Discussion:
This is an actual SIM/Plant™
study which was submitted for the review of the group. Let's
discuss the ramifications of the appearance of the bone and the ultimate tooth
position in relationship to the defect.
Also, please review these
images and comment on the simulated placement of the two implants.
What would you do in this case to treatment plan for the missing anterior
segment of bone and teeth??
